Trends: selfie scotch tape

This is one of the strangest ideas of Facebook users last time.
It started, as many people were taking their self portraits with a distorted by scotch tape face and shared them with friends.
In one moment, a Brighton University student, Lizzie Durley, decided to make a Facebook Sellotape Selfie Page, after watching a movie with Jim Cary, as she says.

Fans are making the sellotape pictures everywhere:

Sellotape Selfie has already over 120.000 fans, and the pictures are coming daily:

But, indeed, it is actually nothing new.

A mexican photographer, Wes Naman, took this photos 2012:

The quality is surely much better than the selfies,

Naman was very successful with his work and the series brought him some huge clients.
