Life in the bottle

That is what reached me with the morning post today.

Did You know, that You can put plants into the bottle and they will create their own ecosystem?

All they need than to live, is plenty of light.

The most spectacular story is the story of  David Latimer, who kept his bottle garden for 54 years and opened it only once to water it, what also wouldn´t be necessary, because the garden was living:

As You can see, You can put most fantastic plants in to the bottle and let them grow there:

Also very sensitive plants, like these orchids may also have a nice life in the bottle:

Bottles are also a very nice element, even if You don´t want to close anything inside.

Another idea is to close the plants in a glass box, You can also use glass tables, as You know them from museum:
